The Watch Concierge

Tell us the watch. We'll find the smartest way to it.

The hard-to-find, the allocation piece, the grail. Unlike a marketplace, we don’t sell watches — we work entirely on your side. We give you an honest read on what’s realistically possible, search the right channels — retail, pre-owned, grey market and auction — and lay out the real routes to the piece you want. You buy direct from the dealer. We never hold the watch or your money.

How it works

Four steps, one trusted hand on the whole thing.

01

You tell us

Name the exact piece — reference, budget, timeframe, and how open you are to pre-owned or a different year or condition. The sharper the brief, the sharper our read.

02

We assess & search

First, an honest read on whether it's realistically attainable — and at what. Then we search the right channels: retail, pre-owned, grey market and auction.

03

We present the real routes

Verified options only — condition, provenance and true price, with our read on each. Where the exact watch isn't available now, we show the smartest path: a pre-owned route, a fair-value listing, or a stronger alternative.

04

You buy direct

When you approve a watch, you purchase from the dealer directly. We take our fee only then — and stand beside the deal from first call to delivery.

Why bring it to us

Not a marketplace. Not a dealer with stock to move. A buyer’s side, and only yours.

75

Verified dealers — publicly listed

The trusted channels we search on your behalf — authorised retailers, grey-market specialists and auction houses worldwide. No secret “private network”; see every one yourself.

Watches we've been paid to push

We hold no inventory and earn nothing by steering you into our own stock — we have none. Our read is yours, not a seller's.

1

Person on your request

A human works your search and answers you personally — and tells you the truth about what's realistic, even when the honest answer isn't a sale.

The fee, in the open

You only pay when we actually find it.

Success fee — by the watch's value

  • Under $10,000$500
  • $10,000 – $50,000$1,500
  • $50,000 – $150,0003%
  • $150,000+ · the grail tier2.5% + bespoke

The success fee is agreed upfront, in writing, and charged only when we source a watch you approve — never to inquire. And when the smartest move isn't an immediate purchase, deeper guidance — an availability check, a fair-value opinion, a sourcing strategy, or the right alternative — is a service in its own right, arranged the same transparent way.

Why it's safe

  • We never hold the watch or your money. Payment is between you and the dealer, direct.
  • We find it, verify it and guide the deal — you own every decision and every approval.
  • No inventory, and no markup buried in the price — the dealer's price is the dealer's price. Any fee of ours is agreed with you upfront, in writing.
  • Every dealer we work with is verified — the same network behind our Watch Finder.

Questions, answered

What to know before you ask us to find it.

How does the Stories To Watch concierge work?

You tell us the exact watch — reference, budget, timeframe and how flexible you are on year, condition or pre-owned. We give you an honest read on whether it's realistically attainable and at what, search the right channels — retail, pre-owned, grey market and auction — and come back with the genuine routes and our read on each. You buy directly from the dealer; we never take the watch or your money.

What does the watch concierge cost?

A success fee, agreed in writing upfront and charged only once you approve a watch: $500 under $10,000, $1,500 up to $50,000, 3% above that, and 2.5% plus bespoke terms at the grail tier. There is no cost to inquire, and no markup hidden in the price.

Is it safe? Do you hold my money or the watch?

No — we never take custody of the watch or your funds. Payment is directly between you and the dealer. We find the piece, verify it and guide the deal, but you own every decision and every approval. Every dealer we work with is verified and publicly listed in our Watch Finder.

How long does it take to source a watch?

It depends entirely on the piece. A liquid, current reference can surface in days; a discontinued or pre-owned grail can take weeks of watching the right channels; a hard allocation piece may not be realistically obtainable soon at all. If so, we tell you that at the start — along with the smarter route — rather than promise a timeline we cannot keep.

What watches can you source?

Most references that genuinely trade on the market — new, pre-owned, vintage or discontinued — across Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, and on to independents and Grand Seiko. Some pieces are only realistic pre-owned; some allocation-driven references simply can't be bought on demand. Our job is to tell you honestly which is which, and guide you to the smartest available route.

How is this different from other watch sourcing services?

We work buyer-side only. We hold no inventory, so we never steer you into our own stock — there is none. Our network isn't a secret list; every dealer is publicly visible in our Watch Finder. And we never hold the watch or your money — you buy direct. Most concierges are dealers or marketplaces with a markup; we are a guide that works for you, not a seller.

How the fee works Our success fee is set by the watch's value ($500 under $10k · $1,500 to $50k · 3% above · 2.5% at the grail tier). It's confirmed with you in writing upfront, and only charged once you approve a watch. Inquiring costs nothing.
