Watches & Wonders 2026 · Limited Edition
Eight years as a Hublot ambassador. Eight years of wearing watches other people designed. At Watches & Wonders 2026, that finally changed. The Big Bang Reloaded Kylian Mbappé is the first piece he co-created — and it arrives the night before the UCL Final.

Most celebrity watch collaborations are marketing exercises. A name on a dial, a colourway chosen by committee, a press release written by someone who has never met the athlete. The Big Bang Reloaded Kylian Mbappé is something different — and the difference shows in the details.
Mbappé has been a Hublot ambassador since 2018. Eight years. In that time, he has worn the brand's watches at Champions League finals, World Cups, and on the covers of magazines worldwide. He has driven more attention to Hublot than almost any other ambassador in Swiss watchmaking. And until Watches & Wonders 2026, he had never once had a watch built to his specification.
That changes with the Big Bang Reloaded Kylian Mbappé — a 200-piece limited edition that marks his first genuine co-creation with the brand. Every significant element of this watch carries personal meaning. This isn't a marketing watch. It's a biography in steel and ceramic.
The foundation is Hublot's new Big Bang Reloaded — itself one of the most significant releases at Watches & Wonders 2026. Rather than a cosmetic update to the existing Big Bang Unico, Hublot fundamentally reworked the architecture: a redesigned multilayer dial, a two-part bezel for sharper material contrasts, and improved visibility on the in-house HUB1280 UNICO flyback chronograph movement.
Four of the movement's five patented innovations are visible directly through the dial. This is a watch built to show its workings — appropriate for an athlete whose entire career has been built on visible excellence rather than quiet competence.
The Mbappé edition takes that foundation and layers in a design language that is unmistakably his. The 44mm case combines polished 18K King Gold with microblasted white ceramic — gold for ambition, white for clarity. His words, according to the brand brief, not a copywriter's interpretation.
"Trust Yourself" is engraved at 6 o'clock on the bezel — Mbappé's personal mantra, the philosophy he says has driven every major decision of his career. On the skeletonised matte anthracite ruthenium dial, a King Gold-toned "10" replaces the standard hour marker at that position. His squad number. His identity on the pitch. His lucky number. 2026 also marks exactly 10 years since his first professional goal — making the number carry more weight than a simple jersey reference.
The watch ships with two interchangeable straps via Hublot's One Click system — a King Gold-coloured fabric Velcro strap and a black-and-white rubber strap carrying the KM logo. Both are exactly what you'd expect from someone who moves between formal and athletic contexts at the highest level.
"This is more than a watch. It carries a message I live by: trust yourself, take your chance, create your own path."
Kylian Mbappé — Watches & Wonders 2026Limited to 200 pieces, this is not a watch you will find at retail. It will not sit in a display case at an authorised dealer waiting for a customer. The 200 pieces will move quickly — partly because of the name, but mostly because the watch genuinely merits attention independent of its ambassador.
The Big Bang Reloaded as a base movement is one of the most technically accomplished open-worked chronographs at this price point. The Mbappé edition adds scarcity, personal narrative, and timing that couldn't have been scripted better — it debuts in the same month as the UCL Final, when Mbappé takes the biggest stage in club football as PSG's focal point against Arsenal in Budapest.
If he performs on Saturday night, this watch becomes the defining object of his 2026. If he wears it in the tunnel or post-match — and given it's his own creation, he very well might — every image from that moment carries this story.
For collectors, the calculation is straightforward. A 200-piece limited edition from a major maison, anchored to one of the most recognisable athletes on the planet, at the peak of his career, released in the same week as his biggest match. These do not depreciate.
200 pieces worldwide. Co-designed by the most watched footballer on the planet. Released at the peak of his career. The secondary market for this reference will be worth watching closely.
